Last night, saw Tropic Thunder – with Robert Downey Jr (as a black man), Jack Black and Ben Stiller in. It was okay – a little disappointed that it wasn't incredible after all the hype around it. Downey Jr is great playing the "dude playin' the dude, disguised as another dude". Tom Cruise also puts in a really funny performance playing the big studio executive.

Was a little disappointed though that almost all of the important plot twists – as well as some of the best lines – are given away in the trailer – leaving very little that's fresh about the storyline in the actual movie.

The start of the film, though, is genius – very clever – but I won't give away what happens.

Really want to see Pineapple Express which has just come out, and Taken – out soon – which looks pretty good. Neeson's voice sounds so cool in the trailer.
