Sermon: Stuff – Living in the light of heaven

A couple of weeks ago I got to preach at The Lab’s mother-in-law church (whom we love dearly), St Paul’s. The subject was “Stuff” – looking at how we should look at material possessions in the light of the kingdom of God – from two readings: the rich young ruler in Mark 10 and 1 Tim 6:6-21.

Thought I’d stick up my notes and the recording we got of it for people to check out.

I managed to get the first 19 minutes on tape, but then my ipod ran out of memory – so you’ll need to creatively imagine what my conclusion may have been like.
