Telling a good story
Stories are a vital part of every sermon or presentation. They engage the audience on an emotional level in a way that delivering information just can’t do. Here’s some of my ideas about how to tell a really good story.

The Story of Everything
A great video from showing the narrative arc of God’s story, from one of the students on the CMS Pioneer Leadership Course.

Bordertown by Mark Sayers
Australian author, Mark Sayers, has written this film noir-esque story to go alongside his book ‘The Vertical Self’. Its a really interesting idea, and the story-line is pretty compelling, not to mention accompanied by some really nice visual elements.
Mark’s stuff on the vertical self makes for a pretty apt and timely social commentary - especially amongst young adults. Check it out.
