This is really quite something. One of the reasons why, although I don’t always agree with him, Pete Rollins just blows my mind:
‘I deny the resurrection of Christ every time I do not serve at the feet of the oppressed, each day that I turn my back on the poor; I deny the resurrection of Christ when I close my ears to the cries of the downtrodden and lend my support to an unjust and corrupt system.
‘However there are moments when I affirm that resurrection, few and far between as they are. I affirm it when I stand up for those who are forced to live on their knees, when I speak for those who have had their tongues torn out, when I cry for those who have no more tears left to shed.’

Love what Tom Wright has to say at the end of this video about resurrection and worldview.
Thanks to Sarah, we now have an ‘about the Lab’ video for the website - you can see it in context on our about page or just watch it above.
Saw Scott Pilgrim last week and it blew my mind.
Recently watched The Joneses again on DVD (we caught it when it was out at the cinema). Bearing in mind my dissertation was on consumerism, I think this film is a really interesting, timely social commentary on the shallowness of consumerist interaction - and how people are (perhaps) crying out for a deeper connection with one another. It’s also a prophetic warning - asking the question, just how far should you go in order to market your products effectively?
Ok, so the plot is slightly Hollywood, but still worth watching.

Another set of pretty cool animations…
Newport (Ymerodraeth State of Mind)
HT: Dave Lucas - do you know him?
I recently stumbled across a series of animations from the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) - this video is one of them. Really interesting, creative way of presenting speech/audio visually (I know this style of animation seems to be pretty ‘in’ right now).
Also some pretty interesting, thought-provoking ideas.
